Not all of his followers could walk back to the parking lot. Many were too elderly or infirm to do so. It appears that he paid for the buses to shuttle them in, but did not pay, as he had agreed to, for the buses to shuttle them out.

One reason he’s holding meetings at these out-of-the-way venues is because he has not paid bills in major cities. Some cities are now saying he cannot hold rallies there until he pays the bills that he owes from the past. He will not pay.

Another thing, though, his cult-like followers are trying to blame the mayors of the nearby towns or the “deep state”for stranding them. They never blame the Trump event planners.
