Fascinating. I’ve always thought the earth-centric reading of “days” to debunk evolution was foolish when such a simple example as the length of a day on Jupiter, for instance, existed. If a deity created all, wouldn’t its days be longer than all others?

And, indeed, if the Church is both the metaphysical “female” and the “body of believers,” wouldn’t that make human men and women equal? Ah yes, the smoke clears.
