A sorority is an organization women join, by choice, to be with women who share experiences. Calling it “strange” in this case makes sense. These women have come together, by choice, to share an experience they all had. But the strangeness comes from its negativity rather than traditional sorority positivity.
I’m sorry about your past experiences and glad for the wisdom you’ve gained from them, but perhaps take time to analyze before letting past experiences misinterpret for you?
